COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Preheat oven 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5 and frying pan. Heat 5ml of vegetable oil in pan. Season mutton with a pinch of salt and pepper, add meat and cook until meat is brown on all sides. During cooking: Cover and place in a preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or alternatively, over low heat on the hob for 1 hour and 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. After cooking: Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving. Check that the food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Ensure the product is cooked thoroughly until all the juices run clear and there is no raw meat inside. If cooked slowly, there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.
