For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use-by date. Once frozen, consume it within 3 months. Once defrosted, use it the same day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

COOKING GUIDELINES

Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, please defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before Cooking: Remove all packaging. Preheat oven 190°C, fan 170°C, and Gas 5. Rub 15ml vegetable oil into mutton and season with 1 teaspoon salt and pepper. During Cooking: Place mutton into a shallow roasting tin. Cook for 25 minutes per 500 g. After Cooking: Allow to rest for 15 minutes, loosely covered with foil, before carving. Check that the food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Ensure product is cooked thoroughly until all the juices run clear and there is no raw meat inside. If cooked slowly, there is small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.
